When you hear the word “calorie”, what comes to your mind first? Calorie is what you get in the foods you eat that can provide you with the energy you need. People who do not want to gain weight avoid foods that are high in calories because calories can really make you fat if you do not burn them well. But for the skinny people, calories play a vital role to help them get their desired weight gain. They need calories so they can put on weight fast. They need to eat more than what their bodies can burn so there is still enough for their bodies to store. This should be done especially to the ones who have high metabolic rate. They need to eat more than 5 meals a day to gain weight. And if they want to build muscles, they should also include protein in their diet, too. Calories can either be avoided or should be taken.
